Important Update: Changes to Data Retention Policy for Invivo Service (Invivo Guide / Invivo Model)

We want to inform you of an important update regarding your Invivo Service Account. 

  

What is changing? 

Data that is over three years old will now be archived and will no longer be accessible through your Invivo Service login. To retain your data, please download it before the archive date of September 6th, 2024  and store it on your own servers.  

If you have a Standard, Premium, or Ultimate Invivo Workspace account, you can store your case data indefinitely. Invivo Workspace Annual Paid plans for have no expiration date on case storage. 
 
FAQ 

When will my closed case data become inaccessible?  
Your case data older than 3 years old will become inaccessible on September 6th, 2024. Moving forward all data will be periodically removed when it hits the 3 year mark.    

Can I export my data myself before Aug 5th?  
Yes, you can log into your Invivo Service account and download any cases you would like to retain locally. However, if you would like to continue using our cloud data can be moved over to your Invivo Workspace account if you have a Standard, Premium, or Ultimate subscription.  

Can I avoid losing access to the data that is over 3 years old?  
You can! If you have an annual plan with Invivo Workspace, you can save your data over yourself or we can do it for you!  

How much does it cost to have my data imported to Invivo Workspace?  

This is done on a case-by-case basis. Please fill out the form here and we will get back to you with a quote.  
  

How do download my own cases from Invivo Service? 

Log into your Invivo Service account at www.invivoservice.com 

Click on the patient name or case number 

Click on any files and the download should start automatically 

Once complete, the file will be available in your downloads folder and can be moved to the storage location or uploaded to Invivo Workspace 

Cases can be downloaded in .amg, .inv, .pdf, and .stl formats. All of these formats can be uploaded to Invivo Workspace. 

How do I import my own data to Invivo Workspace?  
First, log into your Invivo Service account and download any cases you would like to save. Then log into Invivo Workspace and upload the saved cases. They can then be cleared from your local save drive, and you can continue this process moving forward as needed. Need more detailed instructions? Learn More

Once my case files over three years old are inaccessible. Can they be recovered?  

While some case files may no longer be accessible, Osteoid will retain an internal record of your case that may be recoverable. However, this is not guaranteed, and we recommend saving any important cases local or on Invivo Workspace after they are completed.
